Cry Me A River
The Mojave River is in a continual state of flux. Most of the year, it is an underground river with water forced up in rocky areas. Intricate, complex, and diverse, this river environment provides an oasis for life in an otherwise arid and inhospitable desert. The Mojave River runs through several suburban communities. Human impact is part of the story of the river. These images were photographed with plastic cameras and most with infrared film. Like the ever-changing riverbed, each image is unique.
